Below are images of a woman’s v-necked tech shirt in turquoise and man’s crew neck tech shirt in white. The choice of white or turquoise is available for both male and female tech shirts for a $5.00 upgrade. Online ordering ended February 21st! Limited quantities available thereafter. Email info [at] nmspiritrun [dot] org to indicate male or female style, size, and color. We will notify you if your selection is still available, and if so, collect your $5 upgrade fee when you pick up your race number, chip, and t-shirt.

A prize purse in the Adult 5k!

In the Adult 5k, the top three males and females 39 and under (“Open”) and the top three males and females age 40 and up (“Masters”) will split a $1,250 prize purse as follows:

1st Place Male and Female $200
2nd Place Male and Female $125
3rd Place Male and Female $75

Masters

1st Place Male and Female $100
2nd Place Male and Female $75
3rd Place Male and Female $50

Advisements and Restrictions

The final purse prize winners will not be announced until after the event after all questions about the results have been reviewed by the timing company. Once the prize purse results are finalized, Newport-Mesa Spirit Run will mail the winners their checks. If you think you might have won prize money, please leave your name, address, phone number,and email address at the Awards Booth at the event.

All registrants are eligible for prize money and prizes, so long as they wear the bib and chip they were assigned. Bibs may not be transferred from one person to another. Runners will be disqualified it they cut or otherwise do not follow the course.

Spirit Run invites you to celebrate its birthday by participating in its “Then and Now Campaign.” Please send us, or post to the Spirit Run Facebook page, stories of your early and more recent experiences at Spirit Run along with any digital images. We would love to see pictures of you and your family enjoying Spirit Run “then and now,” whether it be you running as a child “then” and as an “adult” now, you running as a child “then” and your child “now,” or any other exciting stories and photos celebrating Spirit Run’s 30th birthday.
